Dear Prayer Team Members,
For nearly nine years I have been blessed to write a daily reflection that is read now by thousands of people. By God’s grace, it has resulted in the publication of nine books (so far). The books are a compilation of reflections on various topics I have written on. The book that I am most passionate about is entitled “The Heart of Encouragement: 176 Reflections to Build You Up and Empower You to Build Up Others.” There are 176 positive messages in this book that touch on many aspects of life and faith. There is something for people of every age and stage of life. In a world filled with anxiety, this book will help the reader become the best version of himself or herself. This book is about building up others, creating safe spaces where it is okay to be honest and vulnerable, and boosting confidence and faith.
“The Heart of Encouragement” contains 176 reflections, based on 18 verses of scripture – 1 Thessalonians 5:11-28 – each offered with the goal to encourage and build you up in one area of life and, in turn, give concrete ideas of how to encourage and build up other people as well. Most reflections include a daily “Encouragement Challenge” practice to infuse encouragement into our world.
I serve happily as a full-time parish priest and don’t have the knowledge or time to do a lot of marketing. Most of the prayer team marketing is word of mouth from Prayer Team members, and for this I am very grateful. I hope that you will consider buying this book as a Christmas present for someone and you will encourage others to do the same.
